Eircom HQ to be picketed today
Tuesday, 24 February 2009
The Irish Anti-War Movement is to picket the Eircom Headquarters in Dublin today over the company's plans to award a contract to a consortium that includes an Israeli multinational firm.
The organisation said it would represent a significant blow to the growing international campaign to boycott Israel because of its treatment of the Palestinians.
It also claims the company is a key player in the Israeli economy with close links to the Israeli military.
