Home of Romanian family attacked in east Belfast
Thursday, 18 June 2009
The home of another Romanian family was attacked in Belfast last night, just 24 hours after 20 other families were forced to flee following a campaign of intimidation.
The PSNI says a window was smashed during last night's attack in the east of the city, but nobody was injured.
The incident is being treated as a hate crime.
On Tuesday night, more than 100 Romanians fled their homes in the south of the city after enduring an orchestrated campaign of abuse and attacks.
They spent the night in a church hall and many said they plan to get out of the North and return to Romania.
