Scottish man found guilty of manslaughter of Frank Fahy

A Scottish man has been found guilty of the manslaughter of Frank Fahy in Glenamaddy, Co Galway last year.
46-year-old Pat Doherty - with an address at Clooncon West in Glenamaddy - had denied murdering the 20-year-old in the early hours of December 15th 2008.
A jury at the Central Criminal Court in Galway found him not guilty of murder, but guilty of manslaughter after around five hours of deliberation.
Mr Justice Paul Carney remanded Pat Doherty in custody to be sentenced on the 2nd of November.
