Cadbury to cut 200 jobs in Dublin and Kerry
Wednesday, 24 June 2009
Cadbury Ireland is seeking to cut 200 jobs at its plants in Dublin and Kerry.
The company says in a bid to reduce costs it will be seeking the redundancies at the facilities in Coolock and Rathmore.
Cadbury says it remains committed to manufacturing in Ireland, and is announcing a €20m investment in the Coolock site.
But it says in order to safe guard operations in Ireland, costs need to be reduced.
Consultations with staff representatives at both sites will be held.
