Four due in court over €2m heroin seizure in Dublin

Four men are due in court in Dublin this morning in connection with a €2m heroin seizure on Friday night.

The drugs were discovered along with cocaine and cannabis during garda raids of a number of premises in the Tallaght area.

Gardai have described the seizure as significant.

The four men arrested following the raids were charged last night and are due before Tallaght District Court today.

Meanwhile, two men arrested in the Clondalkin area following a €60,000 heroin seizure on Saturday night have been released without charge pending instructions from the DPP.
