Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly woman whose body was found in north Co Dublin last night.
The 79-year-old was found dead in a house at Ladycove in Rush at around 7pm.
The State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, is expected to examine the body at the scene this morning.
The house has also been sealed off for technical examination.
