Govt plan to have 10% of all cars electric by 2020

The Government has said that it aims to make Ireland a world leader in green transport by having 10% of all cars run on electricity by 2020.

It's announcing a package of incentives for electric cars, that includes allowing businesses to write off 100% of the cost of the purchase of an electric car against tax.

It's also promising to invest in infrastructure to promote the vehicles.
