'Mother' gives evidence at inquest into 1973 baby death

Cynthia Owens told police in England in 1994 that the baby was stabbed with a knitting needle.
Dublin County Coroners court heard today that the post mortem reveals that she died as a result of a number of puncture wounds to the face, neck and chest.
Two young boys found the dead baby in a plastic bag in a carpark in Georges Street in Dun Laoghaire on April 4th 1973.
