Omagh bomb civil action reopens in Dublin today
Tuesday, 27 May 2008
The families believe the men are responsible for carrying out the Real IRA attack in 1998 in which 29 people were killed.
They are suing them for over €17m.
The five accused, Michael McKevitt, Liam Campbell, Colm Murphy, Seamus McKenna and Seamus Daly, deny any involvement in the blast.
The groundbreaking case is the first time victims of terrorism are confronting the alleged perpetrators.
It is also the first time a Northern Ireland case is being heard in the south.
