Greens reject coalition motion
Saturday, 7 March 2009
Delegates at the Green Party Convention have rejected a motion calling for a special debate next year about their continued future in Government.
Those opposed to the motion said it was better for the party to be in Cabinet shaping policy for the future rather than be outside with no influence at all.
Paul Gogarty TD who was in favour of the motion, told the conference that Fianna Fail has to be exposed for creating the current mess in the Irish economy.
