Teenager dies following car crash in Co Kerry

An 18-year-old man has died following a car crash in Co Kerry in the early hours of the morning.

The man was a backseat passenger in a car that crashed into a ditch at Bunghara, near Listowel, at around 2am.

Two other men who were in the car at the time have been taken to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee.

The road was closed overnight, but has since been reopened to traffic.
