Mugabe declared Zimbabwe presidential election winner
Sunday, 29 June 2008
Robert Mugabe's been declared the winner of this week's presidential run-off in Zimbabwe.
He was the only candidate in the election following the withdrawal of Morgan Tsvangirai due to violence and intimidation against his supporters.
Pressure is now mounting on African leaders, who are gathering in Egypt for this week's African Union Summit to take action against Mr Mugabe.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu has said that he wants to see the African Union reject the election result.
