Italian cruise ship attacked by Somali pirates

An Italian cruise ship has been attacked by pirates off the coast of Somalia.
The vessel managed to escape, and the captain of The Melody says they got away after security men on board returned fire.
None of the passengers or crew were hurt in the attack.
