Sunday, 29 June 2008

Six people have been killed and 40 injured in a bomb blast in India.

The explosives were strapped to a bicycle at a busy weekly market in the north east of the country.

About 20 of the victims are critically injured.

Officials investigating the attack suspect a separatist group, the ULFA, who are fighting for autonomy or

independence in the region.
