At least 10 killed in bomb attack in Pakistan
Friday, 16 October 2009
At least 10 people have been killed today in another suicide bomb attack in north-western Pakistan.
The car bomber blew himself up mosque next to a police station in the city of Peshawar.
No group has claimed responsibility, but it is likely to be work of Pakistani Taliban militants who have carried out dozens of attacks in the region in recent months.
The militants have ramped up attacks in recent weeks in response to military action by the Pakistani Army in their strongholds along the Afghan border.
