Tuesday, 4 November 2008
At least 66 people have died during several days of heavy flooding in northern Vietnam over the past week.
The authorities say the area around Hanoi has experienced its heaviest rainfall in around 20 years.
More downpours are also forecast for the region over the coming days.
Many streets in Hanoi are under three feet of water and scores of businesses have been forced to close.
