Two people bitten by sharks off eastern Australia

Two people are recovering after being attacked by sharks off Australia's east coast today.
A 52-year-old woman suffered injuries to her arm when she was bitten by an 8-9ft shark while paddling a kayak near Byron Bay.
She managed to fend off the attack and swim to safety.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man suffered a deep cut to his leg when he was bitten while spear-fishing near the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland.
