Muslim community to meet over kidnap plot raids in Birmingham

Birmingham's Muslim community is due to hold a public meeting this evening to
discuss the aftermath of police raids that saw nine men arrested in connection
with an alleged terror plot.
The BBC reports that criticism is expected of the way the media reported the
case.
Meanwhile, detectives continue to question nine men arrested in connection
with a so-called terror plot in Birmingham.
Eight of the suspects were picked up in a series of dawn raids on Wednesday,
while the ninth was stopped on a motorway in the city several hours later.
