Saturday, 3 February 2007

Birmingham's Muslim community is due to hold a public meeting this evening to

discuss the aftermath of police raids that saw nine men arrested in connection

with an alleged terror plot.

The BBC reports that criticism is expected of the way the media reported the

case.

Meanwhile, detectives continue to question nine men arrested in connection

with a so-called terror plot in Birmingham.

Eight of the suspects were picked up in a series of dawn raids on Wednesday,

while the ninth was stopped on a motorway in the city several hours later.
