Two men to face retrial over July 21st bomb plot
Wednesday, 11 July 2007
Two of the four men accused of involvement in the July 21st bomb plot in London two years ago will face a retrial, a court heard today.
The jury in the case was discharged yesterday after failing to reach verdicts on the two men aged 24 and 34.
The other four defendants were all found guilty of plotting to detonate bombs on the London Underground and a double-decker bus in a copy of the July 7th attacks two weeks earlier.
They are due to be sentenced later today.
