Family of murdered British teacher in Japan appeal

Monday, March 24, 2008

The family of murdered British teacher Lindsay Ann Hawker are in Japan to make a fresh appeal for information.

Detectives are still hunting prime suspect Tatsuya Ichihashi who disappeared soon after the killing a year ago.

Lindsay's body was found in a bath filled with sand on the balcony of a flat near Tokyo.

Her dad Bill says the last twelve months have been unbearable, 'how would any father feel if his daughter was murdered? No one knows how we feel unless they have lost children themselves'
