Missing boy found safe and well in UK

Monday, March 24, 2008

A ten-year-old boy who was missing in the UK has been found safe and well.

Ben Smythe went missing while walking home from a friend's house in Birmingham last night.

Officers were growing increasingly worried because of his age and the bad weather.

However, just after 2.30pm this afternoon he turned up at an address in Birmingham.

It is not clear where he was and specially-trained officers will be speaking to him about his whereabouts.
