New drug may help fight against Alzheimer's disease

British researchers are hailing a new drug as a major development in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
A study has found that the drug, Rember, can slow progression of the disease by as much as 81%.
Patients taking it for 50 weeks were found to have a slower decline in blood flow to parts of the brain that are important for memory.
Those behind the study are hoping the drug may be available by 2012.
