Obama awarded Nobel Peace Price

US President Barack Obama has been awarded this year's Nobel Peace Prize despite being in the job for less than nine months.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee says it decided to honour Obama for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples".
It says Obama has "captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future".
The committee also says it attached special importance to the US President's vision of a world without nuclear weapons.
Mr Obama had been mentioned as a possible recipient of the prize in recent weeks, but Nobel watchers believed it was too early for him to be given the prestigious award.

Stop the political garbage...it is like giving George Bush the Nobel price...it is only cheapening the price....or perhaps exposes its real value?

it is a great decision for the nobel peace prize committee to declare obama as a peaseful person in the world right now.

There are other people also for the nobel price who work so many for the piece.

This shamefully demonstrates the "political awarding" of Nobel Prizes....as in all such awards.
This President has been manipulated by those who put him in the White House....since day one.
He, personally, has been responsible for nothing. The regime in power in the USA has done nothing but continue to make life hell for others, in their quest to control the planet.
The Bush-Cheney-Wolfowitz-Rumsfeld Legacy lives on as fully expected....by those with a sense of history and events.
Nothing could ever change. Follow the Money and Power.
