Strong aftershock hits central Italy

A strong aftershock has hit central Italy as rescuers continue to search for survivors in the rubble of home that collapsed in yesterday morning's earthquake.
The 4.9-magnitude aftershock sent rescue workers and survivors scrambling for safety, but no further injuries have been reported.
At least 179 people have been confirmed dead following yesterday morning's 6.3-magnitude quake, which destroyed thousands of buildings in the city of L'Aquila.
Hundreds of people were injured by falling debris, while tens of thousands of people have been left homeless.
