Cheney says all options are still on the table with Iran

Saturday, 24 February 2007

American Vice President Dick Cheney has said that all options are still on the table when it comes to Iran.

Mr Cheney warned it would be a serious mistake if it was allowed to become a nuclear power.

He insisted that the US and its allies are pursuing diplomacy as their preferred method of dealing with Tehran.

The Iranian government has ignored a UN deadline to stop work on enriching uranium.
