Bin Laden to issue new message in coming days

Friday, May 16, 2008

Al-Qa'ida leader Osama bin Laden is expected to issue a new message to the west in the coming days.

A website used by Islamic militants says the statement is timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Israel.

The message will be the second this year from bin Laden, who remains the US Government's most-wanted man.

The al-Qa'ida leader is believed to be hiding in the mountains along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
