Two killed in bulldozer rampage in central Jerusalem

Wednesday, 2 July 2008

A Palestinian bulldozer driver has killed at least two people and injured 22 others after ramming a number of vehicles, including a bus, in Jerusalem this morning.

Hundreds of people fled through the streets in panic as the man went on the rampage on Jaffa Road, in the city centre.

He was eventually shot dead by the police, who have described him as a "terrorist".

However, it is unclear if he had links with any Palestinian militant groups.
