Tuesday, 21 July 2009
At least eight people have been killed and more than 60 others wounded in a string of bomb attacks in Iraq today.
The police say a one-year-old baby and an eight-year-old girl were among three people killed in one blast at a market in the Sadr City area of Baghdad.
Two others were killed in a double bombing in the Shi'ite area earlier in the day, while a government minister survived a bomb attack on his convoy in centre of the city.
In Ramadi, meanwhile, three people were killed in a double car bombing outside a restaurant.
