Sarkozy claims Israel and Hamas accept truce plans

The French President Nicolas Sarkozy has claimed that Israel and Hamas have accepted a truce plan for Gaza.
It is thought they have agreed on a Franco-Egyptian proposal involving a ceasefire followed by talks.
It comes after Israel allowed a daily three-hour pause in the fighting to let aid in.
The country has been heavily criticised for bombing a UN school, killing 40 people.
