Thousands of anti-war protestors march on Pentagon
Sunday, 18 March 2007
Thousands of anti-war demonstrators have marched at the Pentagon ahead of the fourth anniversary on Tuesday of the start of the Iraq war.
Some protestors carried yellow and black signs reading "U.S. out of Iraq now!" in one of several protests worldwide to mark four years of war.
Speakers in Washington demanded the end of the war and some called for President Bush's impeachment.
A number of Hollywood stars, including actor and vocal anti-war activist Martin Sheen, were among the crowds.
