Bush's approval rating falls to 28pc

Sunday, May 06, 2007

The approval rating for US President George W Bush has fallen to an all-time low of 28 per cent, according to a poll in Newsweek.

Almost two-thirds of those surveyed said Bush's actions in Iraq show him to be "stubborn and unwilling to accept his mistakes."

Just 30 per cent saw the conduct of the Iraq war as demonstrating the President's willingness "to take political risks" to do what's right.
