Six US police officers have been removed from street duty after video footage showed a group of officers kicking and punching three shooting suspects during a traffic stop.
More than a dozen officers were involved in the incident in Philadelphia.
The police are currently examining the videotape to determine how many of them were actually striking the suspects.
The victims' car had been stopped by officers investigating a triple shooting on Monday night.
No weapons were found, but the officers say they saw the occupants of the car shoot three people on a drug corner moments earlier.
