Clinton dodges the Palin question
Sunday, 7 September 2008
Hillary Clinton has side-stepped questions about the woman who has taken her place as America's most-talked-about female leader.
The New York senator brushed aside questions about Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin during appearances at New York City's annual Labour Day parade.
She mentioned Mrs Palin by name only once during the day, when she uttered a modified version of a line from her speech at the Democratic National Convention, pledging her full support for Democratic nominee Barack Obama.
