Eartha Kitt has died following battle with cancer

The legendary American singer and actress Eartha Kitt has died.
A family friend said the 81 year old died yesterday from colon cancer.
Eartha Kitt began her career as a dancer but quickly proved her versatility and her first album was released in 1954 and included C'est Si Bon and Santa Baby.
Thirty years later she scored a disco hit with the song Where is My Man.
During her career Eartha Kitt won two Emmys, two Grammys and several Tony awards and wrote three autobiographies.

she will be sadly missed, i have grown up with Eartha on our screens from time to time always so glam and young looking, i have aged she never did.
