LA braced for mass influx of Jackson fans

Los Angeles is bracing itself for a huge influx of Michael Jackson fans today as the city prepares to host a spectacular send-off for the pop star.

Almost 20,000 tickets for the event at the Staples Centre have been given to fans via an Internet lottery.

However, many more are expected to show up outside the stadium.

The Jackson family have announced that the participants at the show will include Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Usher, Lionel Ritchie, Kobe Bryan, Jennifer Hudson and Martin Luther King III.
