Palin hits out at criticism
Thursday, 1 January 2009
Defeated Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has said her future son-in-law is not a high school dropout.
The Alaska Governor said 18-year-old Levi Johnston is enrolled in high school through a correspondence programme and has hit out at some media outlets for reporting that her 18-year-old daughter, Bristol, is also a high school dropout.
Bristol gave birth to Mrs Palin's first grandchild, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Saturday.
In a statement, the 18 year old discouraged other teenagers from getting pregnant and said her situation ''isn't ideal''.

Is he attending High School? No.. He 'dropped out' - besides - A report on MSNBC said the soon-to-be-wed couple have made an estimated US$300,000 when People magazine eventually won the bidding war for baby pictures... That'll buy a lot of beer and snowmobiles...
