Cohen's Borat film banned from Russian cinema screens
The Russian Government has banned comedian Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat film from cinema screens in the country.
The Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography says the film could offend some viewers and contains material that might be humiliating to certain ethnic groups and religions.
The film features Cohen's comic character Borat Sagdiyev, a journalist from Kazakhstan, travelling around the United States.
Russia has close political ties with Kazakhstan, a former Soviet state.
