Liam Hemsworth fended off questions about new girlfriend Miley Cyrus at the premiere of their film The Last Song - but he did say their romance was inevitable.
On the red carpet in Hollywood, the former Neighbour's actor said: "It was kind of hard not to get close.
"Our first day was the first time we kissed, originally there was no kiss in the script and we got thrown into the kiss halfway through the scene."
He continued: "The director yelled 'kiss!' and then we spent every day together."
Liam said that the summer he and Miley spent shooting the movie had been "a lot of fun."
"It was good man, it was great. We spent everyday together. Not many bad things to say!" he laughed.
The actor added he was looking forward to audiences finally getting to see the movie which brought them together.
"I'm excited for people to see it, I'm really proud of the film, I hope it does well and that people like it," he said.
