Sheridan Smith says she found it easy to work with her ex James Corden on the new series of Gavin And Stacey.
The 28-year-old actress, who plays James' on-screen sister in the hit BBC sitcom, reckons the recent split hasn't damaged their professional relationship.
She told New! magazine: "We had as much banter on-set as we had off-set, he is just lovely."
She added: "He and Ruth Jones are a pair of geniuses. This is the best series yet."
The Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps actress didn't want to discuss reasons for the break-up, but said there's nobody else in the picture.
"I haven't got time," she said. "I'm going to be one of those lonely old spinsters on the shelf with 70 dogs."
Sheridan is currently starring in the lead of Legally Blonde: The Musical, and she reckons she is increasingly typecast.
She said: "I always play chavs and slappers! My mum and dad say, 'Please get a part in a nice period drama.'"
