Stevie Wonder is to play a gig in Manchester this summer.

The 22-time Grammy-winner is sure to give a rousing performance, with timeless hits such as Lately, I Just Called To Say I Love You and Superstition, at Manchester's Evening News Arena on June 29.

The Manchester date follows Stevie's headline appearances at the Hard Rock Calling festival, where he will be joined by Jamiroquai, James Morrison and Corinne Bailey Rae in London's Hyde Park, and Glastonbury festival on June 26 and 27 respectively.

"I am looking forward to performing in these venues in Europe - we are going to have some wonderful nights," said the star.

Tickets for the Manchester show will be available from April 23 at 9am.
