Enniskillen appeal outcome of Ulster club quarter-final

The Ulster club championship could be left in disarray following confirmation that Enniskillen Gaels have appealed their defeat by Errigal Ciaran last Sunday to the Ulster Council.

Enniskillen claim the Errigal forward Damian McDermott received two yellow cards, but was not sent off by Antrim official Greg Walsh in the quarter-final won by the Tyrone champions.

McDermott was subsequently substituted minutes later by the Errigal management team.

The game was televised and it was clear that McDermott certainly looked to have been booked twice.

The Ulster council hope to have the matter dealt with by Friday, but should Enniskillen lose out, it is clear they will go to the DRA.

Errigal Ciaran are set to play Ballinderry this Sunday.
