Published 09/11/2006

Ireland's Padraig Harrington is in a tie for fifth place after the opening day of the HSBC Champions Tournament in China today.

The Dubliner is back in action just 11 days after clinching his first European Order of Merit title.

He carded a five-under-par 67 in Shanghai today to end up two shots off the early lead held by India's Jyoti Randhawa.

New Zealand's Michael Campbell, Scotland's Marc Warren and Korea's Young-Eun Yang are all tied for second place on six under par.
