Loughrea through to All Ireland hurling final

It will be Loughrea and Ballyhale Shamrocks battling it out in the All Ireland Club Hurling Final.

The Galway side Loughrea were today taking on Cushendall in Cusack Park Mullingar, where they won 1-11 to 0-9.

Loughrea led for most of the game and were 0-7 to 0-3 ahead at half-time.

Although Cushendall were in contention late in the game, and were only three points behind with a few a minute to go, a goal by half forward Vinnie Maher guaranteed Loughrea victory.
