Tipperary end Kilkenny's undefeated run

Despite the weather this morning it was another busy day in the Allianz National Hurling League.

In Division 1A - Offaly thrashed Down 4-18 to 1-11 in Birr.

And Wexford edged out Clare in a tight encounter in Ennis - 1-12 to 1-10 the final score.

The clash of Waterford and Cork was postponed.

In Division 1B the game of the day saw Kilkenny hosting Tipperary at Nowlan Park.

A highly competitive game saw the Munster side come out on top by a single goal winning 3-13 to 2-13.

It ended Kilkenny's long unbeaten run and means the Cats have failed to pick up points in their first two league games.

Elsewhere Galway defeated Limerick 0-17 to 1-09 while rain saw the Antrim v Kilkenny clash postponed at Casement Park.

In Division 2A, Wicklow beat Laois 2-12 to 1-12

Carlow v Meath was postponed and Derry cruised past Armagh 2-13 to 0-09.

In Division 2B Mayo beat Kerry 2-13 to 1-8 and Westmeath lost to Kildare 1-16 to 2-13

In Division 3A it finished Donegal 1-11 Louth 1-12 and Leitrim 0-10 Monagahan 0-07.

Finally in Division 3B Roscommon beat 1-15 Longford 2-07 and Tyrone were victorious over Cavan 2-23 to 1-09.
