New deal ends threat of breakaway move by F1 teams

The threat of Formula One teams forming a breakaway series appears to be over following a new deal reached with motor sport's governing body.

The agreement with the FIA covers the next five years and is understood to give the teams a greater say in drawing up F1 rules.

The existing Concorde Agreement that governs the sport at the end of 2007.
