Fionnuala Britton has taken silver for Ireland in the Women's Under-23 race at the European Cross-Country Championships near Milan.
It is the first time this race was held.
2004 junior winner Binnaz Uslu of Turkey came away with gold.
Fionnula, 22, was leading the whole way round, but was eventually taken over by Uslu who finished strongly.
