Gronholm and Ford extend lead at Rally of New Zealand

Marcus Gronholm has extended his lead to 51 seconds after the second day the Rally of New Zealand in his Ford Focus.

His team mate Mikka Hirvonen is in second spot, with Manfred Stohl in his Peugeot third.

If Gronholm wins tomorrow then Ford will take the manufacturers' title for the first time in 11 years.
