Ireland A side lose to Australia after two late tries

The Ireland A side have lost to their Australian counterparts thanks to two late tries at Thomond Park last night.

Ireland were leading 11-3 at the interval and 17-10 with just 10 minutes left in the game following four penalties from Jeremy Staunton and a try from Luke Fitzgerald.

However, Morgan Turinui and Stephen Hoiles both scored tries for the Aussies on 70 and 79 minutes, with Cameron Shepherd converting both scores to secure a 24-17 victory.
