Robinson says England must respond to Argentina defeat

Published 18/11/2006

England take on South Africa at Twickenham later looking to avoid setting an embarrassing record.

Another defeat would make it an unprecedented eight in a row and pile the pressure on head coach Andy Robinson.

He's made seven changes to the side beaten by Argentina last weekend and reckons it'll be a bruising encounter.

South Africa against England are always very physical games," he said. Certainly it won't be a place for the faint hearted out there. I'm very excited to see how we are going to respond. Because we need to respond. Everybody is just looking forward to that first whistle."
