England and Scotland both look likely to qualify for Euro 2008 after comfortable home wins last night.
Scotland looked strong as they beat the Ukraine 3-1, with James McFadden scoring one and setting up another two.
England look likely to qualify in second place in their group as they recorded their third 3-0 win in a row over Estonia.
Meanwhile, Ireland's group rivals Wales suffered the same fate as the Republic, losing 3-1 away to Cyprus.
